Forpasis Reinhard Selten


Kultura Centro Esperantista funebras pro la forpaso de unu el siaj valoraj prelegintoj, prof. d-ro Reinhard Selten. Li mortis en Poznano (Pollando), 23 aŭgusto 2016. Li mem naskiĝis ankaŭ en urbo nuntempe pola, Vroclavo, en 1930.

Mem esperantistido, prof. Selten edziĝis al esperantistino kaj ĉiam aktive uzis nian lingvon. Okaze de la Eŭropa Tago (9 majo 2007) li estis invitita al la EU-Parlamento kun aliaj Nobel-laŭreatoj. Tiam li pledis favore al esperanto, kiel rimedo por akceli komunan eŭropan identecon. Li akceptis ankaŭ kandidatecon al la EU-Parlamento en la listo Eŭropo-Demokratio-Esperanto.

Reinhard Selten neniam rifuzis kunlaboron, se temis pri la bono de esperanto. Li membris en la patrona komitato de Universala Esperanto-Asocio, sed lian verkon pri komunikado (en tri lingvoj) eldonis Esperanto-Radikala Asocio (anatemita de UEA).

Nepras mencii, ke Selten estis unu el la unuaj kvin kiuj entuziasme akceptis la fondon de la Akademio Internacia de la Sciencoj San-Marino kaj estis en ĝi orda profesoro ekde ĝia naskiĝo. Fidela kunlaboranto de UEA, ERA kaj AIS, li ĉiam malaprobis (kaj priridis) la kvereletojn kiuj de tempo al tempo leviĝis inter la esperantistaj realaĵoj. Tiurilate li lasis al ni sekvindan ekzemplon.
